Our FR10 layer review uses two versions of the same packed case

I asked for the support section and finger withdrawal on one drawing. We have it, but packaging reviewed the current packed case while tooling used the older insert arrangement. Same outside carton size. The bearing areas are not in the same places, so I cannot combine their favourable comments into an approval.

Are both packed versions still expected in dispatch, or only the current one?

Both for now. The old stock is being used up, but no final order cutoff is agreed. The proposed cell description only says one carton size.

Then the scope needs both constructions or a real restriction on what reaches the cell. Don't let an optimistic stock date choose that restriction for you

Can the packer distinguish the two constructions after the cases are sealed?

The product labels distinguish them, but the current changeover instruction does not mention that distinction. Dispatch needs to decide how either two approved routes or a one-version restriction would be maintained.

And include part-used old stock returning after changeover. A clean new batch start can look convincing while the leftovers quietly reintroduce the version you thought you excluded

Added to the joint review. Both packed samples are identified on the support and withdrawal sections now. No pattern or stock restriction agreed yet.
