Cannot choose the FR5 base from a bare-blank approach

Our polymer-blank unloading study shows a reachable fixture, with the gripper replaced by a line. Open machine door missing too. Need a measured access review before arm selection; the proposed base also sits where our fixture trolley normally parks.

Has anyone measured the door in its actual open position?

Not yet. Designer used the closed machine outline. Survey requested from maintenance.

Include the handle and anything projecting into the opening.

Survey back. Door handle projects into the planned approach. Toolmaker is sending the complete fingers and adapter assembly for comparison.

Who will check the trolley access?

Give the setter the same base and tool revision the designer is checking, because reviewing trolley access beside an earlier smaller stand is a splendid way to get two incompatible approvals

Setter owns that check, Hassan. Jo, both now have the surveyed layout and complete tool assembly. No location approved.

Does the tool review include the blank held during withdrawal, and the gripper opening where required, rather than only a closed-tool position at the fixture?

Yes, Clara. Original approach clashes. Designer is assessing a rotated approach at the same base, with loaded withdrawal included.

Can the setter still reach the fixture clamps from that base position?

And does the trolley check cover a changeover, not just parking?

Omar and Hassan, setter's changeover review rejected that base position. Moving it sideways is now a candidate for the complete access study. No arm selected; the rotated approach alone didn't settle the layout.
