Why does rotating our boxes count as a finished pallet design?

I'm reviewing a UR5e layer pattern. Rotated product boxes bridge gaps against their preferred support direction. Can packaging and gripper access be checked together?

They should be. Give the tool designer the packaging constraints on the same drawing as the layer sequence, then have both reviewers identify the positions they cannot accept. Otherwise each can approve a different arrangement without noticing.

We've only got separate comments so far. I'll ask for the marked common drawing.

Include what is inside the box as well, since its support direction may come from the contents rather than the outside shape.

And establish permitted support from packaging evidence. A direction arrow alone cannot approve a gap.

The common view should show finger opening too. We keep discussing where the box ends up and leaving the tool trapped in the drawing. Not literally trapped yet, but certainly not shown getting out.

The marked view shows that conflict. Better support on one row reduces finger clearance.

Can you compare a changed tool with a changed row arrangement, so the packaging correction doesn't become an assumed tool constraint?

Both requested. Packaging wants filled samples before agreeing the stack support.

Then keep both layouts provisional. Requested comparisons are not reviewed alternatives yet.

Who carries the provisional status into purchasing? A drawing can acquire a surprising amount of authority once it is attached to a quotation.
