Who should assess our FR5 impact damage before any power test?

I have asked sales to name their service contact, with the equipment identities and the wide and close photographs already attached.
1 pointsDo the photos show where the shifted support touched, or only the damage after unpacking? That may help the assessor understand the impact without asking you to move things again.
10 pointsBoth, Rebecca; we photographed the crate before releasing the shifted support, and the packaging remains available as received apart from unpacking.
3 pointsA transport claim we handled needed the broad packing view as much as the damaged detail; keep the original images and delivery record together, while the service assessor decides what examination is needed.
19 pointsHas anyone on their side accepted responsibility for arranging that examination, or is sales merely forwarding the email?
15 pointsOnly forwarded so far; there is no named assessor or proposed visit, and I have not booked our setup session.
8 pointsA replacement cover offer alone would not settle what else the impact affected.
14 pointsDaniel, have they actually offered a cover? I don't see Henry saying that. We should not give him another proposal to untangle before they answer the first one.
6 pointsNo, I meant if offered. Henry has not reported that proposal.
14 pointsCorrect, no cover offer; they have now named a service firm and asked whether I can send the package there, but have not supplied transport instructions.
8 pointsHave the service firm confirm the intake and assessment scope before anything travels, with packing and transport arrangements agreed for the damaged equipment; your original crate may need their advice rather than automatic reuse.
19 pointsWho is paying for the transport and assessment under that proposal?
1 pointsSeller says they will cover the initial assessment and transport; I am getting the service firm's intake details and their packing requirements before accepting collection.
7 pointsThanks for coming back with the scope. Does the service firm understand that this arrived with visible impact damage, rather than a routine return described as won't start?
25 pointsThey have acknowledged impact damage and the original photographs, and are reviewing suitable packing; no collection confirmed or assessment completed yet.
4 pointsThat is a service route now. The power decision stays with the assessment, not sales.
