The preparation missing from my FR5 workshop account

I have removed 'simple setup'. The opening now says the station was prepared before I arrived. I still need to untangle my sentence about completing the transfer independently.

What help did you receive during the transfer?

Did you repeat it without that help later, Val? Otherwise independently seems a generous description.

Sam, the demonstrator corrected my enclosure orientation before starting and reminded me where completion appeared. Nathan, I repeated the loading, but still asked whether the displayed result meant the exercise was finished.

Keep that question in the account. It tells another beginner where you needed an explanation.

Nathan, even a later independent repeat would need the prepared-exercise qualification, though it could still be a useful thing for Val to report.

Agreed. I was asking about the transfer, not implying they had independently built the station.

Could you explain the orientation to someone else by the end?

Yes. The tool needed access to the side face, and turning the enclosure the other way hid that face behind the tray wall. Once shown, I stopped treating the tray arrow as an arbitrary instruction.

That sounds worth more than a generic ease-of-use score.

The arrow still mattered, mind; understanding why it exists and remembering which way it points are two different opportunities to get it wrong.

I agree. I am not claiming I would spot every loading mistake. I have used that one example to explain what the session taught me.

Does the corrected account make clear that the demonstrator stayed there for the repeat?

Yes. Prepared station, supervised repeats and the two prompts are stated. I removed independent. The account is still positive, just less ambitious about what I did.

Did the demonstrator see the original account?

They did, and have seen the correction now. They were more interested in the orientation example than in my original enthusiasm. Fair enough. Thank you, Caleb, for encouraging me to keep the actual question.

That is a workshop review I would give a new learner, without having to explain the missing instructor in the margins.
