The SO101 clips in the release have got me interested. I need a first experiment small enough that I might actually finish it. No laundry, no making tea. Thinking one practice block into one tray. Too boring? https://huggingface.co/blog/smolvla

Boring is excellent. Two locations and a clear failure are better than six objects and an argument about what happened.

Define 'into'. Touching the rim isn't in the tray.

Fully inside and let go. I knew someone would catch me on that lol.

Photo of the final state would help. Then you can disagree about the same thing instead of remembering different moments.

I'd keep the tray fixed for the first run. Change one awkward thing at a time.

Fixed tray for the baseline, sure. I'd still reserve some different block positions for testing. Otherwise the lesson might just be that it remembers the setup.

Right. Small task, not one identical attempt forever. Got it.
