our fr10 spacer correction now follows the spare tray

I inherited an FR10 spacer job with several pickup edits. The latest correction helps the spare tray but makes the regular tray grip look less square. The outer tray frames match. I want the actual seating and contacts compared before either tray earns another offset.

Identify the inserts as well as the frames, then compare the same spacer at rest in each intended seat before following first contact; matching outside dimensions do not establish matching pickup geometry.

The frame labels match, but the spare insert has a different support strip underneath. Maintenance has both trays and the retained spacer now.

Different by design, or somebody's repair?

An earlier repair. The job notes never mention it. The spare tray's seat is being compared with the current insert drawing; no more point edits meanwhile.

We once called a tray interchangeable because its latch closed. The repaired support was what changed the part height. Useful to compare the actual seat, but don't assume your strip is wrong solely because ours was

Omar, agreed; compare intended support contact and the identified spacer before deciding whether the repair altered the working seat.

And please keep the repaired strip. Evidence gets tidied away quickly.

The strip is retained. Maintenance found it holding one corner off the intended support. A corrected repair is proposed, and controls is reviewing which edits compensated for that tray.

Will the eventual spare-tray instruction show how to recognise the intended seat, Noah? The next person may know only that both frames carry the same label

Also keep the return comparison open until the corrected tray and reviewed job have been assessed together; the physical finding is useful without yet establishing a reliable transfer.
