Cannot accept the FR5 adapter substitute from a bolt-pattern comparison

The seller confirmed our FR5 tooling assembly before purchase, then delivered a different adapter suffix with its face standing farther out. Their comparison says the bolts fit. It says nothing about the molded part's position in the receiving nest. How should I ask them to address the complete substitute without volunteering to redesign the cell around it?

We have had a correct mounting reference attached to the wrong supplied geometry. Ask for both assembly drawings and the effect on your actual holding, placement and withdrawal, plus availability of the agreed adapter.

Both options are in the request now: demonstrate suitability of the identified substitute or supply the agreed adapter. Our tooling remains unfitted. I have not accepted a new placement offset as the answer to a changed assembly.
