Our brass-blank unloading proposal puts the FR10 in a convenient corner, but the reach sketch leaves out the open machine door and the whole gripper body. The drawing is being passed around as a fit check. I want it labelled honestly while we ask for the missing geometry.
Call it a provisional reach sketch and ask the integrator for the loaded tool, adapter and fittings through the complete withdrawal. Add measured door positions. Or rather, have the actual opening surveyed first if that rectangle is only an estimate.
Maintenance has measured the door. Adapter is not defined yet, though the gripper supplier has supplied its body and finger drawings. I've put provisional on the sketch and asked who is designing the remaining piece.
Integrator owns the adapter now. Open fingers are included. They found the loaded withdrawal crosses the door handle and proposed a shorter adapter or a different base position.
Both need proper review. The shorter adapter changes the loaded assembly as well as clearance, so include the applicable load assessment for the proposed motion. A base move has installation and access consequences of its own.
Could a full-size tool envelope reject either candidate cheaply while the modelling catches up? It won't establish the whole application, but it might stop you paying for detail on an obviously blocked doorway.
Yes, as an early clearance check. Keep it identified with the candidate geometry, though. A smaller convenient outline can give you a very encouraging answer to a question nobody intended to ask.
Bruno, farther towards the end of the machine, beside the service panel. Noah, toolroom has the proposed envelopes for a first check. The setter is also checking fixture-change access at that position.
The farther position obstructs panel removal, so maintenance ruled it out. Setter's trolley access was also poor. Shorter adapter remains a proposal; the first outline clears the handle, but the complete motion review is unfinished.
Does that remaining review include the loaded exit and empty return? Clearing the handle in one outline is useful, but I would keep the installation choice open until both routes are covered.
And is the shorter adapter still a price the supplier stands behind, or did it become a new design charge? Worth keeping the cost next to the geometry decision.
