Why are we labelling the lamp in these UR5e inspection pictures?

Our faceplate sample folder has three pictures of the same bright line labelled scratch, clean and uncertain. Excellent start. This is for a proposed UR5e camera station, not the bezel job I asked about before. I put the actual faceplate beside the pictures. There's a small nick near one screw hole, but the long line changes when I move the lamp. I want to settle the sample labels before anyone starts adjusting thresholds. Would you photograph the nick separately first or sort the whole presentation out?

Photograph the nick closely enough to identify it, then get a whole-face picture with the screw hole visible. You'll need both, a lovely close-up is surprisingly useless once somebody turns the part round.

The screw hole does make it much easier. Thanks, Priya. I've paired a close-up with the whole face and left the long stripe unclassified. Our three labels were copied between folders, not three independent inspections.

Did the lamp change make the nick disappear too? That's the awkward bit I'd want to see before choosing a presentation.

Try marking the hole number on a paper sketch beside the sample. Not on the shiny face itself. Makes 'the little mark on the left' less of a guessing game when another person takes the pictures.
