I learned to check the spare identities on the other pickup job, so I've started there on this FR5 spacer transfer. No identity discrepancy found yet. Tray looks unchanged but the grip is less square and people keep nudging points. What else should maintenance inspect?
Inspect the actual locating and gripping surfaces. Correct identity does not establish condition. I would preserve the current point values and edit history as well; several compensations can hide which physical relationship first moved.
Let maintenance have that distinction before the next handover. Otherwise one person may investigate placement while another is asked to correct pickup. Neither will know the part was already tilted.
Gabriel, agreed on seating. I was not excluding it. A close view of the grip might narrow the inspection, but I would not call a finger worn from an oblique photograph.
Maintenance found a small chip packed against one gripping surface. They've kept it with the inspection note. Henry, no proper part comparison yet, just two people saying the spacers look fine.
That chip is worth dealing with on its own merits. I'd still resist writing root cause found until the grip has been checked after the maintenance work.
Please put the unfinished part comparison in the handover too. A positive finding tends to make the other open checks disappear from the next shift's list.
Cleaning and inspection done through maintenance. The reviewed check held the spacer square, which is encouraging. Programmer still has the point history to assess and we haven't covered all tray positions.
A useful observation, narrower than a complete repair claim. Was anything besides the gripping surface changed for that check? Without that, you cannot attribute the difference to cleaning alone.
Liam's question matters for the explanation, but Jonas can still report the square grip plainly. No need to make a decent maintenance observation sound like it didn't happen.
Thanks Gabriel and Liam, that's clearer. Maintenance also reseated the removable finger, so I'm recording both changes. The wider tray check is still outstanding and the production points aren't signed off yet.
