Our FR5 kit-packing quotes include training. Only one prices changeovers. What else should I ask them to separate?

Ask who gets trained and for which tasks, because one person starting a saved job isn't the same scope as shift cover changing tooling and handling an interrupted batch.

One operator in the cheaper offer. We need three people covered.

Price the same three people against the same task list, then compare the totals with the omissions still visible.

Requested three operators, both kit sizes and changeover. Recovery instruction still vague.

Who answers when those operators reach a recovery they aren't allowed to do? That person needs the relevant handover too, or the call just goes straight back to the supplier.

Beth's right to ask; our cover person had missed the lesson and needed more help than the new operator.

Shift lead answers. Added their handover and maintenance escalation. Thanks Beth.

Revised scope sent to both. No new totals yet. Cheaper isn't established.

Have they said whether the training uses your actual kit trays, or another prepared demonstration? I'd want the people learning changeover to see the arrangement they will be changing.
