It may just be a different description of the same shortage. Have they actually said stock has arrived, or only discussed how they would ship it?
Why is our missing UR5e spare back to being a future shipment?

Only how they'd ship it. No stock claim.
15 pointsThen ask the stock question again in one line, because a beautifully described journey is not much use without the cable at the start
6 pointsDone. Also asked whether credit is an option. Still nothing agreed there.
11 pointsWhat happened with local availability? I'd keep that enquiry alive while the seller sorts out their answer, especially if you need contingency stock rather than a replacement for a cable already out of service.
5 pointsJo, yes, but Jane shouldn't have to buy it twice without knowing how the outstanding paid spare will be handled. A quote gives an option; placing the order is another decision.
6 pointsBen, I read Jo as asking about availability, not telling Jane to order; a local quote could still need a compatibility check before it becomes a real option.
17 pointsThat's what I meant, Owen. Find out whether there is an actual cable available and what it is. No suggestion to spend again while the credit request is unanswered.
-1 pointsLocal firm has requested the installed assembly details. It's a spare, not a breakdown replacement.
14 pointsThat gives you time to get the match checked properly. Has the seller given any answer on stock since your direct question?
9 pointsNo. Repeated consolidation. Apparently the cable has excellent travel plans
12 pointsI would leave the shortage open against the order and get purchasing to own the next decision. You have asked a clear question; another shipping discussion doesn't answer it.
