Do you know which marks were used for each program version?
the tray moves when nobody calls it a change

No. One set is under the carrier and only shows when it's removed. The setter says he uses the visible set. I can't tell you who drew either one
25 pointsThen ask maintenance to check how the carrier is supposed to locate. Pencil marks may be someone's workaround for a missing stop, rather than an intended setting method.
4 pointsDrawing shows a locating strip. There's a strip fitted, but it stops short of one end of the carrier. Maintenance has the drawing and the actual assembly now.
10 pointsThat's enough to check without buying new fingers. I've seen a tray pulled against one stop at one end and sitting on swarf at the other. Looked lined up from the front. It wasn't.
10 pointsAnd find whoever wrote that handover. They might remember which problem they were chasing even if the note is useless on its own.
14 pointsDavid, the fingers still deserve a look. Ben said the grip is skewed, not that the carrier has been found skewed.
5 pointsSure. I said don't buy them, not don't inspect them. I'd check contact faces while maintenance has it accessible.
6 pointsReece, the last editor remembers the sleeves leaning towards the aisle. No pocket numbers. Maintenance will inspect the fingers as well as the carrier, Henry and David.
20 pointsAisle side on every pickup, or just the one he was watching?
13 pointsCompare the retained program versions with the physical changes before selecting a baseline; a correctly refitted carrier may leave those later offsets inappropriate.
14 pointsHas maintenance measured the carrier seating yet?
11 pointsThey found a packing piece trapped under one end. Fingers match the drawing on their checks. David, the editor only remembers one pickup, so I shouldn't have made his recollection sound like a pattern.
25 pointsWho owns refitting that carrier? Cleaning instructions ought to reach the person doing it, not just the robot programmer.
2 pointsSetter owns refitting. He's working with maintenance on a positive seating check. Theo, controls has all three program versions and hasn't picked one just because its filename says original.
6 pointsDid the reviewed pickup test run after the carrier work, Ben?
15 pointsYes. The checked setup picked square in the supervised sample trial. We haven't recreated every old complaint. Carrier refitting instructions are being updated; I still want the trial across the other trays before calling the job finished.
12 pointsWhat was the packing piece from? I'd be looking for the matching missing bit before congratulating myself on finding rubbish.
