Which service record should identify our delivered FR5 module?

Our FR5 tool interface module reached the seller's confirmed service address nine days ago, but the only acknowledgement is still the transport delivery. Service keeps asking for the return number that was on the agreement and inside the box. I want to establish who has the module before asking how long an assessment will take. Our inspection-sample handling setup is still unavailable without it.

Does the delivery identify the service desk itself or a shared receiving point, and have you sent the module identity with the parcel reference rather than only the return number?

Shared reception. I've sent the parcel reference, module label photo and return agreement together. The reception signature is readable, but service hasn't linked it to intake.

Ask reception to search by the parcel recipient too. We once found a return under the purchasing person's name while service searched the case number.

That found the carton. Reception photo matches our packing, and their contents photo shows our module identity. Service says they will transfer it into the assessment queue.

Who owns that transfer into service, Luca, so located at reception doesn't become another place where the return can wait without a next step?

And ask for the intake record linked to this actual module once the transfer happens, not another general acknowledgement of your email.

Named service coordinator now, with an intake number and the module identity. They have assigned the assessment. No fault finding or repair quote yet.

Give your planner that exact status. We had received turn into being repaired after it passed through two conversations. Everyone meant well; the workshop still planned around a repair nobody had started.

Thanks for coming back with the intake result. Did they say when the coordinator will give you the next update?

Luca Baker's distinction is useful, and the expected update can stay separate from any promised repair completion until the assessment actually exists.

The coordinator gave a next status date, not a repair date. Our planner has intake confirmed and assessment assigned, with the manual route still required. Thanks Felix, the recipient-name search got us past the missing case number.
