Why should unverified UR5e cover captions decide our inspection threshold?

I've removed scratch certainty from the unverified examples, without calling those covers accepted. For this UR5e cover plan I still need the physical decisions linked to controlled imaging. What comparison will distinguish a genuine defect becoming hidden from a normal bright band simply moving?

Use quality-judged retained covers with the actual defect regions identified, alongside accepted finish examples under the same recorded conditions. Then change presentation and lighting separately. In our comparison a bright line alone would have rejected both useful examples, so I'd want to hear whether the real scratch remains visible before admiring the cleaner photograph.
