Tracking says delivered, service hasn't acknowledged the component

The unnamed seller in China asked me to return the teach pendant from our Fairino FR5 for assessment. I sent it to their confirmed service address and kept the return agreement and transport record. Tracking says delivered, but after 15 days there's no intake or inspection confirmation. Our setup for transferring molded housings remains out of service.

Check whether the return agreement provides a case reference alongside the component identifier. Those details would help the receiving team connect the parcel to the service request

Our return information includes the case reference and confirmed address, with photographs identifying the component before packing. The seller's response only says it's checking with service; it doesn't confirm receipt or inspection.

Send those together with the delivery record. Ask them to confirm physical intake of the identified component first, and name the contact handling that check

@JoAli0244 Would it help to focus my next request on intake instead of repair completion? The repair-status question hasn't produced a specific answer.

For a separate service return of mine, I asked which individual stage had been completed. That clarified a vague processing status that had been used for receipt, inspection, and return shipment.

Since tracking says delivered, they've received it. Ask them to move it into the inspection queue and give you a service contact

@JoAli0244 That's the gap in the thread: delivery to an address isn't confirmed intake of this component. Don't skip the missing step.

You're right. I shouldn't have treated parcel delivery as service intake. Ask them to locate and log the component before asking about its inspection stage

Could it be sitting unopened somewhere and still count as delivered?

That's possible, but we don't know it's happened here. The intake check should establish whether they've located and identified the parcel's contents

I'll keep the request about locating our component rather than asserting a possible explanation for the delay. Despite my frustration, its position in their process is still unknown.

Check the delivery record for a receiving location or recipient that service intake can reconcile. Include any such details privately in the case information.

@MayaBell0649 Should I forward the full return information immediately if the seller supplies a different service contact?

Verify the new contact through an established channel first. Once it's confirmed, send the case information they need to trace the component

@JoAli0244 Any request for another component should specify its purpose and handling arrangements, particularly while intake of the original returned item remains unconfirmed.

The seller has confirmed intake of our identified component against the return case. That closes the trace question; assessment and the eventual service outcome are still pending.

That answers where it entered the service process. The assessment is still a separate open step
