Which view will show whether our rotated cases are supported?

I'm reviewing a UR5e pallet pattern. Rotated cases bridge gaps, while packing notes require support under particular base edges. Which drawing would let packaging and the gripper designer settle it together?

A view from underneath the rotated case helped us see what the top view hid, though your packing person needs to mark where this particular case carries its load

Thank you. We only have the outside dimensions so far. I'll ask packing to mark the support areas over the actual lower layer.

And include whatever packing is inside it, ours looked like an ordinary box until we noticed the little divider feet doing the work

Who supplied the support requirement? I would check it belongs to your packed case before you redesign the pattern around somebody's general carton advice.

Yes, where did those notes come from?

Our case review also needed the tool open, not just gripping a box. The spaces between cases were there to let fingers out, which made the support question harder to solve by simply closing the gaps.

Are you using side fingers too, Gabriel?

Yes, side fingers. The notes are from our packing designer for this case and contents. She's now got the layout and both tool positions.

Make sure she gets any revised gaps too, otherwise the drawing she approves may already be out of date

We have one shared revision for the review now. Still waiting for her answer on the rotated layer. And I meant both jaw positions earlier, not two alternative tools.

Got you, open and closed; post what she comes back with, interested whether there's room to keep that pattern
