I am reviewing an FR10 pallet proposal whose rotated cases sit across gaps, although their packing instructions require support in one direction; which views should packaging and the gripper supplier assess before we commit to the pattern?
Use a view of the carton base over the lower layer, with its actual load-bearing areas marked. Our divider foot turned out much narrower than the outer box.
The packing designer has marked two narrow support strips on our case drawing, and the tool supplier is adding open-finger clearance to the same layout.
Check their withdrawal space as well. We used a full-size outline to find obvious clashes before buying tooling, then left the loaded packing assessment to the packaging people.
