We received the FR10 arm crate. The separately listed pendant crate is missing. Freight tracking says delivered against one signature, but the receipt says one handling unit. How do I trace the smaller crate?

Start with the crate marks, because handling unit may mean a pallet holding multiple packages. Does the seller have a dispatch photo showing the smaller crate's identifier?

Yes. Two separate marked crates at dispatch. Our received crate has the first mark and no evidence of anything strapped on top

Send the missing mark to the forwarder and ask where it was last individually recorded. The shipment-level delivered status isn't answering that question.

Forwarder says both crates were combined into one pallet at consolidation. They have not supplied a photo of that pallet

That could explain one handling unit, but it doesn't prove both reached you. Ask for the consolidation record and the final carrier's package description. Those should identify what each party handed over.

Agreed. Combined at origin and complete at delivery are different claims. Your receiving photo should sit beside their consolidation evidence when it arrives.

Who signed at your end? Ask that person what physically arrived while the delivery is still memorable. A signature imported into tracking is not a photograph of two crates.

Check your shared receiving area too. Smaller crates sometimes get routed as ordinary accessories.

Worth ruling out locally while the forwarder traces it. Use the crate mark, not just robot parts, when asking the stores staff.

Stores checked both receiving rooms. Signer remembers one large crate only. Final carrier paperwork now shows the smaller crate on a separate delivery reference

That separate reference is the useful lead. Have the forwarder trace it explicitly and correct the claim that the entire package was delivered. Your installation team needs the actual outstanding item listed.

It still doesn't locate the crate. Don't let the second reference turn into an assumed delivery date; ask for its last physical scan and current custodian.

Trace opened against that reference. Carrier reports it at a local depot, awaiting reconciliation of the address label. No delivery appointment yet
