Our polymer blank reaches the machine fixture on paper, but the drawing ends where the gripper body ought to begin; I can see why the arm quote looks attractive, I just can't see the tool getting through that door yet.
Include the actual grip depth on the blank when they add the tool, because a blank floating at the most convenient point between the fingers can make the machine entry look better than the proposed grip allows.
Our layout discussion changed once someone brought the ordinary operator into it; could your setter show the fixture-change task on that same drawing before a stand gets chosen?
Hassan, no receiving position yet; Anna, we have measured our actual open door now, and Grace, the setter has marked the fixture-change access they need.
Eli, the receiving position matters for release and empty return too; I was concentrating on the machine entry, but a tool can clear that and still be wrong for the rest of the exchange
Complete quoted tool is in the model now, with its grip depth fixed against the blank; the adapter fouls the door return on the original path, so the supplier is comparing a side stand position.
In the completed machine-entry model, yes, Hassan; Anna, the setter's space is retained, but the receiving layout and maintenance removal are still under review.
That's a useful intermediate result; keep the exact quoted tool and stand position with it while the remaining tasks are reviewed, so their next drawing doesn't solve release by quietly changing the grip
The receiving release now clears with the same tool, and maintenance has asked for a different access-panel position before accepting tool removal; no stand order yet, but we finally have a specific remaining obstruction.
