The arm crate from our FR5 consolidated shipment is here. The separate tooling-kit crate is not. Tracking says delivered and the receipt does not make the package count clear. I have asked our unnamed Chinese seller for a trace for 22 days. We need the kit for inspection-tray loading. How do I get the search attached to that crate?
Give the forwarder the crate identifier and consolidation reference, with the received arm-crate photographs and the unclear receipt. Ask for the last confirmed physical handover of the tooling crate, not another status for the whole consignment.
I have asked for that crate-level search. I also asked the recipient of the freight to explain what they counted, since the receipt may describe handling units rather than our two crates. No location for the tooling kit yet.
Keep those explanations separate until the warehouse confirms the link. A revised package count may explain the receipt while still leaving the tooling crate's location unknown; neither the seller nor your installation planner should treat the administrative clarification as arrival.
