Ask who collected the identified package and for the record of that handover; the label alone does not tell you whether collection occurred.
Our UR5e has a shipped email and a label that never moved

I've asked that, Reece, with the crate mark from their packing photo, and they answered with a dispatch-office contact rather than a collector
16 pointsGive that contact the crate mark and ask which carrier or agent received it. Dispatch office might know. No need to pretend that naming an office has already located the crate.
20 pointsI once followed an obsolete label for a week after a shipment was rebooked. Ask whether your reference is still the active one, as well as asking about collection.
4 pointsNina, that's a useful possibility, thanks; their photo shows another label partly underneath the visible one, though I can't read its reference
25 pointsDon't try to guess the hidden number from the photo. The dispatch person should be able to say which label went with this crate.
4 pointsAnd ask them to link any replacement reference to your crate mark, so a different live tracking page does not become another unexplained screenshot.
18 pointsHave you held off arranging receiving cover? I'd hate to book someone against that old label.
-1 pointsLouis, keeping receiving informed is still worthwhile. I wouldn't book special cover, but ordinary goods-in should know which package Jo is trying to trace.
21 pointsYep, special cover was what I meant. Normal receiving still needs the details.
8 pointsGoods-in has the crate mark, Louis and Nina; no special cover arranged, and the dispatch office now confirms the first label was cancelled but hasn't supplied the new reference yet
13 pointsWell, stop refreshing the cancelled one. I say that as someone who absolutely would keep refreshing it.
18 pointsDid the dispatch office also confirm collection, or only cancellation of the original label?
5 pointsOnly cancellation so far, Reece; I've kept the collection question in the reply rather than letting the label answer stand in for it
25 pointsThat is the right loose end. Rebooking can happen while the crate is still on the seller's floor, so the new number may initially show no more than the old one did.
3 pointsThe new reference has arrived with the dispatch note linking our crate mark, and the carrier has confirmed receipt under that reference; no onward delivery appointment yet, but we finally have a package to track
14 pointsThank you for returning with the handover result; I would give receiving the new reference and keep the cancelled one marked as superseded.
