The unnamed seller in China asked me to return the controller unit from our Fairino FR10 for assessment.
I sent it to their confirmed service address and kept the return agreement and transport record.
Tracking says delivered, but after 17 days there's no intake or inspection confirmation.
Our setup for placing inspection samples remains out of service.
Yes, I've the case reference, agreed address, and identity photos from packing. The only seller update says checking with service, not received or inspected.
@AnilBarnes0549 Combine the case details, component photographs, and transport delivery record in a request for physical intake confirmation. Ask who is responsible for reconciling that receipt with the service case.
@YasminBarnes0528 Would it help to focus my next request on intake instead of repair completion? The repair-status question hasn't produced a specific answer.
On my own service return, asking which stage was complete worked better. Receipt, inspection, and return shipping had been getting squeezed into 'processing'
@YasminBarnes0528 The transport event doesn't establish that the identified component has entered the service inventory. Confirming that intake is precisely the unresolved step here.
You're right. I shouldn't have treated parcel delivery as service intake. Ask them to locate and log the component before asking about its inspection stage.
@AnilBarnes0549 Ask whether the carrier record includes a receiving location or recipient they can search against. Send that privately with the case details
@YasminBarnes0528 Any request for another component should specify its purpose and handling arrangements, particularly while intake of the original returned item remains unconfirmed.
@NadiaBarnes0552 I'll keep that in mind if they ask. My immediate request is simply confirmation of where our returned component entered their service process.
