Our FR10 faceplate examples mix protective film with the bare finish

Our FR10 reference folder includes bare faceplates and pieces still wearing protective film, yet the same scratch labels are used for both; I want the real incoming condition and physical surface decisions settled before those images choose our thresholds

Does the actual inspection job receive bare faceplates, Naomi? Establish that with the person supplying them. A film-covered example might describe incoming handling, but it cannot silently stand in for the surface the proposed camera is meant to judge.

The intended inspection is after film removal, but preparation was omitted from the proposal; our production lead has now named that work and quality is judging the retained bare faceplates, with their original identities kept

Check for marks introduced during that preparation too. An accepted surface before handling can't lend its label indefinitely to a piece everyone has peeled and passed around.

And keep the old film-covered views marked as that condition, rather than deleting the explanation for why their bright lines looked different

One bare piece gained a line during removal, so quality has judged its new condition separately rather than preserve the earlier accepted label; the original film-covered images stay with their preparation notes, outside the bare-surface tuning set

Was the line traced to a particular contact during removal, or is that still unknown? Either way, the agreed preparation method and who performs it belong with the next comparison, not only with the damage report.

Also repeat the seating after preparation. Removing film can change how a piece sits if someone used it over a locating surface in those earlier examples.

The removal contact remains under investigation, Chen; Zara, tooling and the loader have added the bare-part seating check to the next comparison, so we have not chosen thresholds or declared the preparation method ready for handover
