Cannot set a bracket acceptance step from two differently supported readings

I am preparing the UR5e bracket training route, but one old angle reading was taken in the weld fixture and another on a bench after correction; which supporting information should I recover before the new sheet calls either reading final acceptance?

Find the inspection instruction and the drawing revision behind the final reading, because the word final alone does not explain how the bracket was supported.

The final sheet names drawing G and inspection instruction 12, but I only have instruction 9 in the folder.

Ask quality for instruction 12 rather than trying to infer its setup from 9; the number change may cover something important.

Was the bench reading definitely after correction, Sam? I'm asking because our training notes once put two operations on one line, and everyone read that line in a different order.

Yes, Jo, the route card explicitly puts correction before the final check; the clamped reading belongs to the earlier fit-up stage.

That gives you the broad route. I'd have quality explain the two setups side by side when instruction 12 arrives, with the actual bracket or a marked drawing. Much easier for a new operator than learning which familiar words mean different things.

Imran Ali, they share a batch number but no individual piece identity, so I cannot pair them as before and after.

Keep them as examples of the old stages, then, without calculating a change in angle between two possibly different pieces.

And make the correction decision explicit in the training route. Someone has to decide which released brackets go there. A line saying correct if needed is not much help to the person who needs to know.

Quality has sent instruction 12; it specifies support on the base face for the released check, while the earlier fixture sheet checks component fit-up.

Does instruction 12 include the decision before correction as well, or only acceptance afterward? That is the remaining part of Jo's question, and it may live in another instruction.

Only afterward, Imran Allen; the fabrication lead is locating the earlier selection instruction, so that part stays open in the draft.

I've separated the fit-up, selection, correction and final-check lines, with the missing selection instruction marked for the fabrication lead rather than guessed from the accepted numbers.

Will the new sample trial keep individual bracket identities through those stages, so the next review can answer the before-and-after question properly?
