Does one unit mean the pallet, with a separate list of crates on it?

Forwarder says pallet. Seller's list names two crates. Our receiving photograph shows the arm crate only.
22 pointsCan the forwarder show which marked crates were loaded for the final delivery?
8 pointsAsked. Their current reply attaches the seller's packing list again, not the final vehicle load.
19 pointsWas your receiving photograph taken before unwrapping, Beth? That makes it more useful for comparing what was actually unloaded, though it still does not tell you where the other crate went.
19 pointsBefore unwrapping, all sides photographed. One crate under the wrap. Retained the wrap and pallet too.
5 pointsI'd send the missing mark in the message itself. We had a parcel search where every attachment was forwarded and the one useful identifier stayed buried in the original email. Three helpful people searching three different numbers.
-1 pointsAsk receiving and dispatch at the last depot to search that same mark.
14 pointsDepot receiving has an arrival photo with both marks. Dispatch has only the arm crate on its load photo. Missing crate search finally opened there.
18 pointsDo they know whether it stayed at the depot or left on another vehicle?
17 pointsNot yet. No second dispatch record found. Search is physical stores and unmatched loads, according to their supervisor.
21 pointsHas the depot found it now, Beth? Interested whether the gap between those photographs gave them a useful place to look.
18 pointsFound on their damaged-pallet holding rack. Outer pallet was replaced; small crate did not rejoin the arm. They photographed its mark and intact crate, awaiting onward booking.
11 pointsGood to have an actual shelf at last. Has your receiver got the missing mark and the fact that this is the delayed second part of the old order?
6 pointsYes. Receiver expects that mark, not a new complete robot order. Depot confirmed the collection booking, but collection itself is still pending.
7 pointsDelivered to our receiving desk. Hardware inventory matches the missing kit list; maintenance checked the references. Order now complete. Thanks, Alex, the final-load photograph located the break in the chain.
14 pointsWorth retaining the two load photographs with the closed enquiry. The delivered pallet count alone was never going to explain that missing crate.
