Our FR5 arrived with a crushed crate corner, displaced supports and visible damage near the controller enclosure. Kept unpowered, packaging and photos retained. What assessment should replace the seller's switch-it-on suggestion?
Ask for a competent assessor and a damage-specific inspection method before energising it. Send the enclosure close-ups with wider views showing the shifted supports and unit identity; don't dismantle it just to improve the photographs. The seller needs to arrange an assessment, not make starting up the test of whether starting up was appropriate
