one acknowledgement, two possible inspection attempts

I'm reading the logs from our UR5e fixture inspection after an application restart. Both attempts used the same job label. The acknowledgement could belong to either one, and the PLC clock is behind the laptop. Is there a way to reconstruct this without simply picking the nearest timestamp?

Look for a sequence number or connection session first, because clock proximity can't distinguish two attempts sharing a label. Do any records carry one?

The laptop log has a session start line. The acknowledgement contains only the reused job label and result. PLC records show that label twice, with no attempt number.

Then record both possible associations unless another event rules one out. A tidy timeline would look reassuring, but it could still be the wrong story.

We once found useful ordering in a connection-close record. Not a clock correction, just evidence that one response preceded a restart. Worth checking whether yours records that boundary.

For future attempts, ask the programmer for an identifier that survives restart and distinguishes retries; it won't recover the missing identity in this old acknowledgement.
