Send representative packed cartons, with the surface differences identified. Ask them to assess the proposed contact positions through pickup, transfer and release, not only whether one cup seals.
10 pointsWe have two board sources and the seam is not in exactly the same place on both, so I'll include both rather than the nicest box from stores.
9 pointsInclude the packing condition as supplied. Flattened samples assembled specially for a demo can leave out the very variation you're trying to assess.
6 pointsOur carton review needed packed samples before the contact layout made sense. Photograph the proposed positions on yours first; that may expose an obvious mismatch without paying for another head.
11 pointsHana's photo check is worthwhile. The supplier still needs to assess holding through the intended movement with the real load.
