Ask each supplier for the complete held assembly's mass properties and geometry, including tool, fingers, adapter, fittings and housing in the proposed orientations. Have the integrator assess that against the applicable robot limits and motion requirements. Part weight alone leaves the assembly doing the holding out of the decision.
