One order, two freight references, no located crate

I already know a collection booking isn't a collected crate. This FR5 order has a different wrinkle: our seller and the freight agent are answering against different references, and neither will say those references describe the same load. The seller says the tray gripper went with the robot. The agent says the reference we were given hasn't reached its warehouse. I've sent both the carton list and asked them to join the references up. Meanwhile our planner keeps asking which week to leave empty. I don't have a week to give her.

Does the seller's handover note name the agent's receiving location?

It names a collection company, Sofia, but not a receiving warehouse. The agent says that company can collect for several warehouses. That's the gap I'm trying to close.

The gripper adds another question: was it inside the robot crate or a separate carton? A matching order reference could still leave that small box behind.

Separate carton on the packing list. Thank you, Amy, I had bundled that into 'the crate' in my own messages. I've asked them to account for both pieces separately.

Our agent needed the collection company's job number once. The seller's order number led nowhere.

Sam, did the collection company give you that directly?

No, through the seller. We weren't the collection company's customer.

Ben, has anybody now matched either package to an actual receipt? Your planner still needs to know whether this is a located shipment or an unresolved search.

I'd leave the install week uncommitted. We held people for an optimistic freight date once and then needed them elsewhere when the equipment finally turned up. Explain the missing location, not another guessed arrival.
