Which released-bracket check belongs in this FR10 quote?

Separate FR10 bracket quote this time. Supplier includes an in-fixture check, but our old final acceptance followed correction. Which inspection step should I ask them to price?

Ask quality for the released-part instruction first. Price the check you actually need.

Quality sent Q8. It checks the base and upright after the correction operation.

Send Q8 with the route, then. The supplier needs to see where that check sits.

I'd ask for the correction decision too, not just the final measuring time. We have a habit of pricing the tidy inspection bench and forgetting the person who sorts which parts go to the less tidy one.

That decision isn't in Q8. Fabrication has been asked for its earlier check.

Does the quote assume the new fixture removes correction altogether? I would want that stated openly if it explains the missing step.

Yes, Ella. Supplier expects no correction, but hasn't shown a trial on our current bracket.

I've watched that expectation turn into an operator with a hammer beside a supposedly finished cell. Ask for a trial result before removing the work. And don't let the old correction method become the new default without review either.

Nina, did they ever put the extra work into the cycle figures, or leave it outside the number?

They eventually counted it. The first report timed only the robot and looked fantastic. Full-shift output was rather less impressed.

I've requested Q8 inspection pricing and a current-part trial before accepting the no-correction assumption. Fabrication's selection check still outstanding.
