My colleague asked what she should stop doing to make time for the FR5 spacer-loading pilot I proposed. I had priced the equipment, but treated her fixture work as an unspecified contribution. That was unfair, and it also made the estimate uninformative. We need a bounded trial question before deciding whether either of us should spend more time on it.

Our pilot only became comparable once we timed the existing job from preparation through clearing; could you agree that baseline and a staff-time limit together before asking your colleague to design the trial fixture?
