Why can nobody connect our delivered UR5e controller to a service job?

We returned the controller to the seller's confirmed service address. Tracking says delivered and I have the return agreement, but service keeps asking for an order number we've already supplied. Our tray-loading setup remains unavailable. What else would connect this physical return to someone responsible for finding it?

Send the controller identifier, return authorisation, parcel reference and delivery proof together, and ask for a named service contact to confirm intake rather than another sales status reply

Sent that bundle. Sales forwarded it to a service mailbox but nobody there has answered. At least the controller label is now beside the parcel reference in the request.

Was the return authorisation visible on the outer package? A photograph from dispatch could help their intake search if the receiver cannot match the parcel to the service record.

Yes, on the outer label, and we have a photo. I've sent it. The delivery signature doesn't include an item description, just the parcel number.

That's still useful proof of parcel delivery. I wouldn't try to turn it into proof that a technician inspected the controller. Keep asking for the actual intake match.

Agreed, Felix. Their service contact needs to confirm the identified unit, not simply repeat the transport status Victoria can already see

Would your local support firm investigate a compatible loan while the return is traced? I mean ask about availability and terms, not order a replacement because the original has gone quiet.

Sam, include who supports the loan and its return terms. A temporary controller can create its own unresolved paperwork if nobody owns that arrangement.

And identify the complete supported combination before borrowing it. A similar-looking unit on a shelf isn't a restart plan.

Yes. I'd ask the support firm to make that judgement, then compare the proposal with the cost of waiting. No point buying urgency without compatibility.

Seller has named a service coordinator, but they haven't confirmed finding our unit. Local support is checking whether a suitable loan exists. Nothing booked. Thanks Toby, the outer-label photo gave the coordinator a specific parcel to look for.
