cast housing weighed, extended FR10 tool left out of both offers

I already need complete tool geometry for access reviews, and these two FR10 housing-loader quotes leave it out of the load argument too; what assembly data should accompany the part weight when the fingers, adapter and hose fittings all extend the arrangement?

Ask for the complete loaded assembly's mass, centre of gravity and relevant inertia information, with the intended orientations and motion assessed against the applicable manufacturer guidance rather than a bare-part total.

Give both suppliers the same task description when asking. I would also require them to identify excluded hardware explicitly. Otherwise one will price a complete tool and the other will keep winning with invisible fittings (until your order is placed).

The comparison also needs revision control. Geometry and mass data from different iterations can each be accurate while describing no assembly you will actually receive. Ask who consolidates the proposed tool information for the application assessment.

Integrator will consolidate it; I've sent the complete item list and proposed task to both suppliers, but neither has returned the load assessment yet

Keep the hardware order waiting for that review; agreeing who assembles the information has not established suitability.

Has either supplier provided the complete assembly information since your request, or is the comparison still blocked at that stage?
