I overlaid the packed-box base on our UR5e layer drawing and its reinforced edges land partly over gaps in the layer below; who needs to review that before we keep the alternating pattern?
Packaging, with the actual filled box details. Don't let anyone wave it away with alternating is stronger. They need to look at what supports these particular boxes.
Could you put the tool's finger space on that same drawing? We had packaging close a gap that the tool designer had deliberately left, then everyone thought the other person was being difficult.
Then get both people looking at it together. Packaging can't conjure support into a finger gap, and the tool designer can't wish the gap smaller after the fingers are made.
They are comparing a different tool approach and a lower-count layer, neither chosen yet; at least both options now include the filled-box support detail
Leave the original pattern out of the approved folder while they compare. Otherwise someone will grab the familiar picture and you'll have this conversation twice.
