I am reviewing the steel-gusseted-bracket records before our FR5 fixture inherits them: held alignment, released failure and unexplained correction, but how do I link the fit-up and location notes to the final measurement without inventing the missing stages?
Start with one identified assembly and follow its original pages. Check the feature and measuring reference at each stage, as well as whether it was restrained or released. A shared job number may link a batch of work without proving the two results belong to one bracket.
The original author clarified the numbering: the two sheets refer to different assemblies within one job, so I have withdrawn the apparent before-and-after comparison rather than use it to explain correction
Keep both sheets with that clarification. They still describe observations, just not a paired result, and a future linked study should not be presented as though it already happened in these records.
