What should I send when our FR5 stop happens out of shot?

I finally filmed our FR5 stopping with an aluminium block, and managed to hide the bit I needed behind the fixture. The screen says it is waiting for a fixture confirmation. The clip does show the cable loop brushing a tray handle just beforehand. The seller wants a clearer video. I don't want people repeating the job just to get me better footage. We have stopped using this arrangement while maintenance looks at it. Can I make a useful support reply from what we already have?

Yes. Send the original clip and say exactly what is hidden. I've had people crop out the lead-in because nothing was happening yet, then discover that was where the part first shifted. Your cable loop deserves to stay in the picture.

Thanks Lin. I nearly sent just the last few seconds. Maintenance has the whole clip now and can see the handle contact, though the connector end is behind the fixture.

Has anyone actually found cable damage, or are we convicting a loop because it moved?

Contact is worth investigating. It doesn't tell you which confirmation disappeared. Get the exact waiting step and the retained input history to the technician as well.

Beth, not claiming a broken cable. I meant don't throw away the only view showing that part of the sequence. The hidden end could be perfectly fine.

Rachel, has support named the fixture confirmation they mean? If the technician has to guess that too, a sharper video won't help much

They mean the clamp-closed confirmation. Maintenance has found the cable support loose, not a broken conductor. They're looking at the complete routing and the input evidence before recommending the repair.

That's useful. Loose support would annoy me even if it turns out not to explain this stop. Who handles the routing change, your maintenance team or the package supplier?

And don't lose the original mounting arrangement when they document it. The person answering from abroad won't have seen how close that handle sits.

Beth, our maintenance lead is discussing the routing with the supplier. Leah, they've photographed it before changing anything. I have sent those with the waiting step; still no agreed explanation for the missing confirmation.

Did the retained history cover that occurrence, Rachel, or will the confirmation question remain open even after the support is repaired?
