Which connection guide applies to our delivered UR5e package?

The external identities match our order, but the supplied guide shows a different arrangement around the arm connection cable. Fifty-four days since I asked the seller for the applicable documents. Setup is still unpowered. I want the installer to have a coherent package, not choose whichever picture looks closest.

Send the package identities, external overview and the specific conflicting guide page to the seller's technical contact. Ask for the applicable assembly drawing and connection procedure, with revisions, for your installer to compare.

Done. The technical contact says the picture belongs to an earlier package arrangement. They sent a newer assembly drawing but no connection procedure.

Does the newer drawing actually match what arrived, Liam, or have they only sent a newer date?

Installer says the external arrangement matches. The cable references still need their table. We have asked for that and the procedure. Nothing connected or powered.

Good. Have the installer list all the referenced files they need at once. Otherwise the drawing can point to another document and you spend a week discovering that attachment is missing too.

Keep the exact confusing page with the enquiry. We had a correction arrive that explained a different connector because someone replied from the wrong email branch.

Hana's point is useful. The response should name the assembly it applies to, not rely on the subject line carrying the whole package identity.

The installer supplied a short missing-file list. Seller returned the cable table and a procedure, but the procedure still references the old assembly number.

So still inconsistent. Did you send that specific cross-reference back?

And ask whether that procedure is intentionally shared between arrangements or simply the wrong file. The number difference needs an explanation, not a guess from us.

Yes. Technical contact admits the wrong procedure was attached. They have named the replacement document but have not sent it yet.

I'd rather that admission than another equivalent answer. Does your installer know the earlier procedure is withdrawn?

They do. Working folder has a clear hold note. The wrong guide remains only with the correspondence so it cannot be selected as an alternative.

Have the installer compare the eventual complete set before releasing that hold. Correcting one attachment should not bypass the package review you started.

Has the named procedure arrived now?

Arrived. It names our assembly and the supplied cable references. Installer is checking the whole set against the delivered package, not just the one corrected page.

Useful. When they finish, put the agreed revisions on the handover index so the next person does not have to replay these emails.

Installer completed the document and external-package comparison. Applicable set accepted and indexed. Setup checks are a separate booked task; we have not powered the package yet.

A coherent set at last. That should make the setup visit considerably less of a document hunt.
