Carton support lost between pallet layers

Our UR5e pallet proposal rotates every second layer. Some carton ends then bridge the gaps below. I need packaging and tooling to check the same layout before we choose it.

Mark the internal supports on the layer drawings. Include the gripper open at release. Otherwise packaging will close the gaps and tooling will quietly put them back.

I have the insert drawing now. The load sits on two narrow end sections, not the full carton base.

Which insert revision is it? Check that against the filled cartons you intend to use for the review.

And where does the operator stand when a carton needs sorting out?

That needs review, but carton recovery is not a reason to leave unsupported ends in the normal pattern.

Jane, are you thinking of reaching the far row, because our dispatch team brought that up before anyone mentioned the tool?

Yes, the far row; I didn't ask them to keep the bad support, Nathan

Insert revision B matches our sample cartons. The proposed recovery access is from one side only. I have added Jane's far-row question to the review.

Packaging wants to change the upper row positions. Tooling is checking them now. No pattern accepted yet.

Please post the eventual arrangement, Aaron, especially if the access question changes which side the pallet faces.
