Our UR5e guide shows a panel absent from the delivered package

Outside labels match our order, but the supplied guide shows a different controller connection panel. Setup remains unpowered. Which package details should the seller's technical contact confirm for our installer?

Send the external controller and pendant identities, package reference and an overview of the delivered connection arrangement alongside the mismatching page. Ask for the applicable guide revision and its assembly scope, not a verbal suggestion about which socket resembles the picture.

Have they acknowledged that exact mismatching page yet?

And can your installer identify the mismatch from the overview without removing anything? External labels and the guide are enough to begin the question; you shouldn't have to explore inside it to make sales listen.

Amara, sales acknowledged the page but resent the same guide. Beth, installer has identified the external mismatch without opening anything. We need the technical reply.

Ask for the technical recipient by name. We once sent the same pack through three sales contacts, and each helpfully replied with the download they'd always used. The technician eventually asked for the one external label already in our first message. Nobody had forwarded it. I would put the label identities and the disputed page in the message itself as well as the attachments, then ask the recipient to confirm they are comparing those exact things. Not elegant, but it saved another lap of the email chain.

Aisha's right about forwarding, and I'd keep the original order contact copied so the technical answer doesn't become a separate conversation nobody associates with the delivery.

When a replacement guide arrives, compare its actual connection pages. A new cover revision doesn't necessarily mean the diagram inside has changed. Your installer needs a statement that covers the delivered assembly, not merely the product family.

Named technician replied directly. They confirmed the delivered identities and said our guide belongs to another package arrangement. Corrected document promised; no connection advice accepted in the meantime.

We had a pack where the connection diagram was current but the referenced cable table was from the previous issue. Will the technician include the documents that the corrected page points to as well?

That would help the teaching copy too. A learner follows the reference because it looks official; they won't know which page the installer silently ignores.

Will's cable-table point is useful. Emma, ask the installer to list the referenced documents needed to complete their comparison, so the technician can supply one coherent set.

Did the promised guide arrive?

It arrived. Panel figure matches the delivered arrangement, but the referenced cable table still names the other package. Installer returned that exact discrepancy to the technician.

Glad Will mentioned the table. Does that leave your installer waiting only for the corrected reference, or have they found another mismatch in the package?

Beth, I'd let the installer finish the set before calling anything the only missing page. These packs can be remarkably good at hiding their next surprise in a footnote.

Installer completed the document comparison; that cable reference is the remaining discrepancy, Beth. Technician has supplied its corrected revision with the assembly applicability stated. Final installer review is next.

After that review, make the working setup folder contain the agreed set. Keep the earlier guide as superseded history elsewhere, rather than leaving two near-identical files for the next person to choose between.

And ask who updates that set after a cable or interface assembly changes, since a correct guide can become the wrong one later without the filename looking any different.

Installer confirmed the corrected set against our delivered package. Documentation discrepancy closed. Maintenance owns future applicability checks after assembly changes, Reece. Commissioning remains a separate step.

Thanks for returning with the actual review result. Has the corrected set reached the person preparing the handover copies as well?
