UR5e crate arrived crushed at one corner. Supports displaced, pendant enclosure damaged. Photos and packaging kept. Seller says power it up. No assessment procedure.

Keep it unpowered and ask for a qualified damage assessment tied to the supplied package. Send the wide arrival photos as well as the pendant detail. Switching it on is not a substitute for checking what the displaced supports hit.

Sent both views. Their reply cropped out the crate and called it a cover scratch.

Ask their service contact to address the actual damaged enclosure and support movement, Ravi. Sales may be answering the cosmetic question because that is the easiest one in the photograph.

Service has the full set now. Asked who can inspect it locally. Still off.

Get the scope and cost responsibility agreed before the visit. The assessor needs to know the whole shipping-damage history, not arrive expecting only a scratched cover.

Seller agreed to a local assessment cost. Assessor requested package identities and all arrival photos before quoting scope.

Good. Give them the displaced-support photographs too, even if the pendant is the only obvious damage. They should decide what that contact means, not have the cropped sales picture decide for them.
