delivered status, missing controller crate

Our UR5e arm crate is here but the separate controller crate isn't, and after 51 days the seller and freight contacts still keep sending a receipt that says one delivered unit without explaining whether that unit means a crate or a pallet; I need somebody to trace the controller's own mark, not congratulate us on the arm again.

Do you have the controller crate mark from the packing list, and does any physical handover record name it separately?

Packing list gives it a separate mark, Will, but the delivered receipt only names the master freight reference and one unit.

Ask the consolidator for its incoming count. If two crates went in and one came out, that is a much better search question than delivered versus not delivered.

Provided they identify both crate marks. A total of two could include an unrelated parcel, so the receiving count needs its contents explained.

What did your own receiving team actually unload, Abigail? Was anything strapped to the arm crate?

One arm crate on one pallet, Nadia, with nothing attached in the unloading photographs; I have sent those with the controller mark to the consolidator.

Naomi, yes. I meant the two identified crates, not any two boxes in a busy warehouse.

Has the consolidator acknowledged receiving the controller crate yet?

Keep the seller's packing photo too. It may show the intended package, but it is not the consolidator's receipt of it.

They have found an incoming photo with both marks visible, Will, and the onward loading photo shows only the arm crate; they are checking the storage area used between those two stages.

Any result from the physical search?

Found it in an overflow bay under a handwritten internal reference, with our crate mark still on the other face; they sent current photos and linked that internal reference to the original consignment.

Has the crate been checked for visible damage before they arrange the onward trip?

And keep setup unbooked until you have an actual onward plan. Located is useful progress, but it does not give your installer a receiving date.

Nadia, they supplied all-side photos showing no visible external damage; Will, collection is now arranged but I have not booked installation, since we still need to receive and check the contents.

Give receiving that separate crate mark and expected controller package list. The master reference already caused enough confusion once.

Thanks for explaining the overflow reference. That is the sort of detail I wish freight replies included before the tenth email.

Controller crate arrived and receiving checked the identified package against the list, complete with no damage found in the receiving check; the shortage is closed and I can finally hand a complete delivery over for installation planning.

Good to hear it reached you. That is a much better point to start arranging people's time.
